Privacy Policy

The short version
SizeRight is a calculator that runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, and no database, and we never collect or transmit the numbers you type. The only outside services involved are the ad network that shows banners to free users (with your consent where required), the App Store and Google Play that process the optional one-time Pro purchase, and Expo, which delivers occasional over-the-air app updates. Information stored on your device
SizeRight has no user accounts and no backend. The account size, risk percentage, and stop distance you enter are processed in memory on your device to compute a result — they are never saved to a server or shared with us or anyone else.
A few small settings and status values are stored locally on your device — for example, whether you have unlocked Pro, your light or dark theme choice, whether you have completed onboarding, and a simple count of how many days you have used the app so we know when to show a one-time review prompt. This information stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.
Advertising & consent
If you have not purchased Pro, SizeRight shows banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve these ads, AdMob may process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad interactions, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before any ads are requested, and your choices determine whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads. You can review or change these choices at any time from the app's Settings, under "Ad Privacy Options" where applicable. SizeRight does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access the iOS advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
Pro users see no ads, and the consent flow is skipped entirely for them.
Pro purchase
SizeRight offers an optional one-time "Pro" purchase that unlocks additional instruments and removes ads. Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android) using your existing store account. We never see or store your payment details. Your purchase is verified through the store, and a simple "unlocked" flag is cached on your device so the app remembers it. You can restore a previous purchase on a new device using the same Apple ID or Google account.
App updates
SizeRight delivers occasional over-the-air updates to the app's code using EAS Update, a service operated by Expo (650 Industries, Inc.). When you open the app, it checks Expo's servers for a newer compatible version and downloads it if one is available. To do this, a small amount of technical information is shared with Expo — such as the app and runtime version, your platform (iOS or Android), an update identifier, an anonymous app-generated client identifier, and the IP address inherent to any internet connection. This is used only to deliver the correct update to your device; no account information and none of your calculator inputs are involved. Expo's handling of this data is governed by Expo's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
SizeRight relies on a small number of third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform — ad serving and consent management for free users. Privacy policy.
- Apple App Store — processes the Pro purchase on iOS. Privacy policy.
- Google Play — processes the Pro purchase on Android. Privacy policy.
- Expo / EAS Update (650 Industries, Inc.) — delivers over-the-air app updates. Privacy policy.
We encourage you to review the policies of these providers to understand how they handle data.
Children
SizeRight is a tool for futures traders and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has provided information through one of the third-party services above, please contact us and we will help where we can.
Your rights & choices
Because SizeRight stores no personal data on any server we control, there is no account for us to access, export, or delete. You can:
- Clear all locally stored data by deleting the app from your device.
- Manage or reset your ad-consent choices from the app's Settings.
- Manage purchases through your Apple or Google account.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights regarding data handled by the third-party services above. Those requests are best directed to the relevant provider, and you are welcome to contact us for help.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app. Your continued use of SizeRight after an update means you accept the revised policy.
